Seeking an experienced accountant to manage and act as the point of financial controls for five locations. Responsible for preparation of accounting reports and assisting the Controller in maintaining all accounting records. Daily, weekly and period end responsibilities include settlement of credit card batches in the POS system, production of Flash Report, preparation daily sales journal, update receiving reports, enter deposit activity, follow up on disputes, charge backs and inquiries, payroll reconciliations, weekly sales comparisons and period end reviews.
Candidate must have at least five years of accounting experience in a restaurant, retail or hotel group. Must be available to handle accounting for multiple locations and work a flexible schedule as needed during period end. Must be highly organized and efficient and accurate and have strong Excel and computer skills.
