OVERVIEW OF ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE REPRESENTATIVE
Integra works with hundreds of healthcare providers to help facilitate the care of over 150,000 patients per year. One of our key functions is to ensure timely and complete payment from third party payors. We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Representative to perform activities that maximize insurance reimbursement and promote faster payment. We want hardworking, high integrity, team players to be responsible for:
Day-to-day interaction with Health Plans and Providers of Care by telephone, email, and fax
Phone and electronic status verification of claims
Appeal and claims reprocessing projects
Handle and resolve customer questions and/or issues
Record details of inquiries, comments, or issues
Work with time sensitive material and deliver great results to meet important deadlines
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma / Bachelors Degree preferred
Have 2+ years experience billing / collecting receivables for DME and/or OP companies
Prior work experience in telephone customer service
Strong Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel skills, as well as proficiency with using billing software (doc-tor.com experience is highly preferred)
Exceptional communication skills -- verbal and written / English fluency (verbal and written) is a must
Highly detail oriented
