Wonderful opportunity for a financial professional interested in working closely with a Christian-based organization to perform all financial accounting, reporting, budgeting and other planning functions.
Responsibilities include daily oversight of cash flow activities, payroll processing, vendor management, monthly account reconciliations, budget forecasting and program/ministry expense review. In addition, collaborate with the Executive Director to review human resources expense monitoring to include compensation, benefits, retirement plan, etc. Interact with outside counsel, accounting firm and benefits providers. Update and suggest improvements to database. Very proactive, thinking role.
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of not-for-profit fund accounting experience, preferably in a church environment. Exceptional QuickBooks and Excel skills required. Additional financial accounting software preferred. Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Google office applications. Management experience, the ability to work independently and a desire to help grow the organization is necessary. Highly detailed and deadline driven.

Wonderful benefits package and competitive compensation to $80,000 DOE for the ideal candidate. 9-5. Will also consider someone part-time 10-3 who has the required skillset.
