Restaurant Group Controller (Brooklyn)

Expanding Restaurant Company is looking for an individual to handle all
accounting and controlling needs for their restaurants. This is a full time
position with benefits. This individual will work directly with the owners
as well as the general managers of each restaurant. Individual must have
over 5 years accounting experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

1. Prepare weekly and monthly financial and operations reports to owners,
general managers and chefs.
2. Generate financial reports for distribution to the owners and investors
3. Work with owner and provide financial operational analysis of each
restaurant
4. Daily bank reconciliation and cash flow analysis and projections
5. Special projects as needed.
6. Use QuickBooks on a daily basis
7. Bookkeeping services including invoices and AP.
8. Payroll

Licensed CPA is a plus but not necessary if other experience is appropriate.

Required Experience:
Must have least 5 years of experience doing accounting in the
restaurant/hospitality industry.
Must be knowledgeable of restaurants operations
Excellent computer skills including advanced Excel skills.
Excellent Quickbooks knowledge and skills
Must be able to communicate clearing and effectively
