The Business Operations and Strategy team at Google plays a critical role in defining and driving strategic, operational and organizational improvements across the company. Founded in 2003, BizOps is a high-profile, high-impact team working with Google's businesses across the globe. BizOps works on a range of critical projects and issues--from growth strategies for exciting products like YouTube, Chrome and Mobile; to engineering prioritization and global sales force alignment; to partner development and strategy work in emerging markets such as Africa and India. As a member of the BizOps team, you are at the forefront in helping Google clarify fast-moving strategic priorities, tackle operational challenges and enable innovation.

Audience Development Strategist, YouTube Next Lab - Beverly Hills
As an Audience Development Strategist, you will be part of the newly formed audience development team designed to strategically build audiences for specific partners and content. You will devise and execute a strategy to grow viewership and an engaged subscriber base by working with all aspects of audience development, including product development, marketing, search engine optimization, social media marketing, partnerships, data analysis and user research.
With previous online video experience combined with your deep expertise in growing audiences and knowledge of online trends, you will help set best practices for audience development. You will circulate knowledge throughout YouTube and work directly with key partners. You're a problem solver by nature and your strategic thinking skills will be critical in devising new tactics and turning data into actionable information to both enhance content optimization and influence product development. You are someone who is a self-starter, intellectually curious and able to think with both sides of the brain. You are comfortable working in a results-driven environment, able to multi-task, social media savvy, have a strong interest in online video, and want to be part of an innovative team that is forging new ground and redefining the world of media. Qualifications include:
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree. In lieu of degree, 4 years of relevant experience.
- 3 years in related experience in online video, social media, or audience development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree, such as an MBA.
- Demonstrated ability to drive viewership or online growth.
- Excellent analytical and written/spoken communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, as a team player and possess strong partner relationship skills.
- Knowledge and experience in online video and a desire to redefine how people discover and consume content.
