Office Assistant (City of Industry)

We are a growing wholesale food company in the City of Industry, looking for a full-time office administrator to join our team. This position will be responsible for all administrative duties. This includes, but is not limited to entering/processing orders, answering incoming calls, answering incoming e-mails, processing quotes, and other administrative tasks.

Specific Responsibilities:

Contacting our customers by phone/email.
Learn and utilize the telephone system, remaining available to answer incoming calls.
Exhibit a professional and courteous manner at all times.
Responsible for general administrative duties such as; data entry, filing, copying, scanning, faxing, sorting mail and mail distribution, prepare excel spreadsheets and worksheets, organization and other administrative tasks.
Perform tasks for special projects as assigned.
Understand and follow company rules and regulations.
Maintain business confidentiality relative to pricing, promotion, customer lists, and methods of distribution.

Requirements:

Must be punctual and dependable
Excellent phone skills and etiquette
Pleasant and professional telephone manner
Accurate and concise administrative skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Words, Excel and Outlook

Highly preferred:

Individual with superior office abilities and business proposal writing skills

Compensation:

Compensation based on experience.
