Luxury natural products company seeks a full time Production and Distribution Manager to manage the operations of our manufacturing and fulfillment center.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
- Inventory tracking, creating and maintaining spreadsheets
- Shipping and receiving
- Coordinating with outside vendors
- Managing production schedules supervising staff
- Packaging products
- Buying supplies and materials, sourcing raw materials
- Wholesale order fulfillment
- Answering phones
- Research and purchase equipment,
- Other tasks as they arise.
**Experience with different types of shipping including dangerous goods shipping a plus!
The candidate must be able to work independently, be a self-starter, have excellent prioritization time management skills and consistently meet deadlines.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- College degree required
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent math and checking skills are required
- Proficiency using a Mac and Microsoft Office programs, with at least an
- Intermediate level of expertise with Excel
- Internet savvy
- Must have excellent communication and organizational skills with a professional manner
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Ability to be assertive and a great problem-solver, and to multi-task and prioritize, with great follow-through
- Resourceful, reliable, patient, ethical, gracious, easy-going with a positive attitude
- Must be able to follow procedures exactly
- Must have a working vehicle and valid drivers' license and be OK with using car for work (mileage is reimbursed)
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. and climb stepladders
