Legal related firm has an immediate opening for a Research Coordinator (some marketing involved).
The ideal candidate is a recent college graduate (or higher degree), from a top college with top grades. Ideally at 3.4 GPA or higher.
Openings are in Century City, at an extremely busy company (Legal Search Firm).
Interest in the legal field is highly preferred, though not required if you can consistently produce top work product.
OK with law school objective, or grad school. Someone interested in legal recruiting long term also great.
Key is that you are smart, care, with a great work ethic, and take interest pride in your work.
Must be extremely receptive towards constructive criticism, with an objective of learning improving.
The ideal candidate has outstanding research skills, is careful, quick, accurate, and has common sense. High attention to detail, good speller, careful.
Pay range is anywhere from $34,000 -$40,000 depending on experience. OK if you want to work a year or two prior to grad school. Also, a drive an interest in Sales could lead to salary potential way over $40,000 (if you include bonus incentives).
We are not a law firm. You will learn more about how the legal industry functions, and its inner workings, more than at almost any other job.
Dress is very casual, upscale office space, hours are from 8 a.m. -4 p.m. On occasion, overtime during busy times when needed.
Must be able to start right away, and be very reliable. Commit to at least a year, more is better.
