Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEP) Consulting engineering firm currently has an opening for an entry-level electrical engineer.
Our firm specializes in engineering for the construction industry and has experienced strong growth throughout the recent economic uncertainty. We are looking for strategic expansion to our team to help support our next phase of growth. We are looking for engineers that have a passion for buildings, and that can grow into senior technical and project management positions over time; we have a strong mentor and training program to help you succeed with your professional growth. We are located 5-10 minutes to the beach and have many quality-of-life perks for our team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Hard working, fast learner with strong organizational skills that can function with minimal task-level management.
- BS Electrical Engineering, or BS Architectural Engineering
- Drafting and CAD course work with a basic understanding of the mechanics and some practical application in a class project
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Self-starter
- Solid understanding of general office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- EIT Certification and a strong desire and capability of becoming licensed as a Professional Engineer when eligible.
- Previous internships or work experience.
- Understanding of lighting design and energy codes.
