We are a web startup looking to hire a freelance graphic designer to assist development of user interface designs and assets. You may also be engaged to assist in development of corporate communications, wireframing, and mockups for client presentations..
Requirements
- Work on freelance basis
- Flexible hours working remotely + SM office
- Estimated workload 20 hours / week $20 - $40 / hour (based on skillset)
- Has own computer equipment and sofware, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator CS5, + HTML essential
Skill
- Proficient with Adobe Illustrator CS5
- Strong design sense, particularly for clean intuitive layouts
- Very detailed, able to ensure consistency of elements across various designs
- Able to adhere to established design guidlines
- Creative ideas and ability to suggest improvements
Additional Skills
- Current knowledge of HTML / CSS is preferable but not required
- Familiar with user-centric design principles
- Familiar with current trends for interface elements
- Location: Santa Monica
- Compensation: $20 - $40 / hour
- Telecommuting is ok.
