High end residential design firm seeking Interior Designer/Project Manager to manage all phases of assigned projects. Candidate must have the following skills: 2 years min. experience with a design firm, able to communicate effectively with clients, team leader with excellent verbal, written and organizational skills, be a self starter, extremely motivated and diligent, strong design and presentation skills, ability to delegate tasks, able to create and supervise budgets, purchases orders, etc. High end residential experience with custom furniture, fabrics, finishes, and decorative items, understanding of custom upholstery, millwork and cabinetry construction, detailing and the related fabrication process. Candidate must posses a general knowledge of construction practices. Strong general computer skills (Microsoft word, excel, and experience with Design Manager 7.0 software required). The position is full time and staffed in-house.
Must have a 4 year degree in Interior Design.
