Rapidly growing interactive/social media start-up seeking web design/programmer interns to begin asap. Our company, based in Vence CA, is pioneering a new social media concept which leverages immersive media technologies to recreate the live event experience online.. Our platform has been embraced by the world's largest sports properties, brands and music acts and is unlike anything else on the market today.. The selected intern will be working directly with clients/partners and gain vast amounts of knowledge concerning entertainment technology/engagement advertising solutions and how they are adopted by major sports/music properties.

We are seeking someone highly intelligent, ambitious and self motivated who can take on a wide range of responsibilities. During the course of the internship you will become proficient with several content management systems, work on many web design and web development projects, and work closely with the company founders.We're seeking a candidate who is proficient in HTML/CSS with some jQuery knowledge and who would like to add some pieces to their portfolio while gaining real world experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Building basic HTML websites.
WordPress
Creating basic web design compositions.
Formatting and editing images to be used on client websites.
Cross-browser testing.
Updating client websites.
Building links to internal and client websites.

REQUIREMENTS
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Know your way around Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
The ability to upload files with an FTP Client (Transmit, FileZilla, etc.)
A proficiency in HTML and CSS and the ability to turn a simple design into a web page.

DETAILS
This position is open immediately and will be filled once the appropriate candidate is found. This is a 10-20 hour per week, 4-month internship with the possibility for extension. You will be paid $10/hour.We have an office in Venice that you may work out of, and at times you will be expected to meet there. However, if preferable you can also work from home on a regular basis. We are very easy to work with, and as long as you get the job done and work hard, we're happy to be very accommodating.
