We are a well-connected, profitable online advertising and content network focused on natural and organic food and lifestyles. Our network includes over 30 blogs and receives over 2 million monthly visitors. Content includes online classes, recipes and articles about sustainable agriculture, nutrition and green living. We have over 25 advertisers and focus on connecting brands with customers via banner and text ads, giveaways, and sponsored posts.
We are looking for a few motivated, versatile and ambitious people who want to get in on the ground floor of a fast-growing start-up. You must be comfortable with software and computers, but we will train you in the specific tools you'll use.
We are located near Venice. Work will be done in home office temporarily, in nearby office within 6 months.
Primary Responsibilities:
Serve ads using ad serving software (we will train you)
Manage blog content such as contests and giveaways (In Wordpress - we will train you)
Coordinate various blogger activities (via Google Docs and email)
Oversee and send email newsletters
Post podcasts on blogs
Oversee transcription service; post transcripts of podcasts to subscribers
Post videos on YouTube
Update Facebook and Pinterest
Schedule travel
Manage calendars
Make bank deposits
Payroll
Secondary Responsibilities:
Provide some subscriber customer service (via email)
Qualifications:
Good computer skills, preferably Mac
Experience with social media: Wordpress, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest
Self-starter; can-do attitude
High standards; detail-orientedExcellent written English
