This is an accounting and administrative position at a small distribution company.
Family owned business founded in 1993 located in the northeast San Fernando Valley. Authorized distributor for a number of companies offering Aerospace, Defense and Industrial components. We have a wide range of products but specialize in vibration isolators including aircraft engine mounts. The company offers excellent growth opportunity in a small business environment. Job Description:
Full time permanent Accounting/Administrative position
Accounts Receivable/Payable
Maintain accurate bookkeeping records in Quickbooks Pro
Payroll including quarterly payroll tax filings
Prepare income tax data and work with CPA to complete corporate taxes
Perform sales analysis in Excel to inform the sales department
Data entry, filing
Occasionally answer and route incoming calls
General office duties as needed
Must be comfortable working independently, position reports to the Operations Manager
Knowledge, Skills and Background Required:
Accounting experience required, preferrably with Quickbooks
College degree or equivalent work experience
Experience working in an office setting
Excellent interpersonal skills
Must be computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office
Reliable transportation (to get to and from work)
Professional attire and appearance when working
Background check required, no felonies in the last 7 years
