Investment Firm - Reporting Analyst

SUMMARY: The Performance Analyst will provide performance analysis and performance attribution support to the company and its affiliates. This may include performance report calculating and distributing composite statistics, performance reporting, and ensuring the integrity of data used for performance reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Learn about company's complex, systematic investment process, markets invested in, financial instruments used and the reporting processes that support the firm's portfolio management teams, clients, related consultants and prospects.
Assist Reporting Analytics Lead with data needs and research to support reporting processes and execution.
Conduct analysts and compile supporting documentation related to QA testing
Master system technology to learn to create data extracts for reporting purposes. Review financial data for various portfolios and develop charts and tables for presentations and publications.
Prepare a large number of ad hoc and quarterly standard reports and participate in the research, design, and creation of new reports as needed.
Coordinate, to the extent needed, the production of reporting content needed from other departments, including Legal, Compliance, Accounting, Valuation and Marketing.
Conduct, as necessary, competitor analysis, performance contribution/attribution analysts, and work with investment professionals to organize investment-level data on quarterly basis for reporting purposes.

Requirements:

A Bachelors degree required from a TOP university with a major in Math, Engineering, Economics, Business or another related field.
Successful candidate MUST have advanced Excel skills -- including pivot tables, macros, "what-if" statements
Must have strong interest in finance, be highly analytical and be willing to learn a great deal about a large number of diversified investment strategies.
