Our client, a local government entity in San Pedro, has a six month to one year Senior Accountant-Grants position available. This will be a part-time job, approximately 20 hours per week. This position requires an accounting background with large dollar-value grants. Job duties include:
Prepare financial reports;
Maintain accounting records for all Federal, State, and pass-through grants received by the client;
Coordinate with Divisions' grant representative(s) and work with independent financial auditors to resolve any audit findings;
Ensure correct booking of all receivables of grant funds;
Monitor and track grant funds; and
Other-related duties as requested by the client.
