A leading developer and manufacturer of specialty-engineered products is looking for an internal MA intern analyst to join their corporate strategy group. The intern will work closely with the team to primarily research, develop and analyze current or potential new businesses / market segments, identify and prepare briefings on industry players. In addition, this individual will be responsible for maintaining the company's proprietary business development database as well as support other facets of the mergers and acquisition process as required.
Qualifications
* Superior business acumen with detailed understanding and ability to analyze and interpret financial statements and working knowledge of discounted cash flow modeling
* Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact with senior management
* Creative thinker that can independently build thoughtful and comprehensive presentations on target businesses and or industry segments
* Must be a high energy "roll-up-the-sleeves" individual with a demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis
* Expert user of MS Excel PowerPoint
* Strongly preferred: prior corporate strategy development or investment banking experience
