We're recruiting candidates for a boutique Investment Banking Advisory firm, who is seeking a research intern to work directly with the Managing Director. This is an incredible opportunity for current undergrads.
Internship Details:
-15+ hour weekly commitment
-Potential of continuing over the summer with a 40+ hour weekly commitment
Overview of Responsibilities:
- Identify prospective buyer and target companies through the analysis of financial data;
- Analyze current activity in the various industries that covers;
- Help with the preparation of financial spreadsheets in Excel, offering memoranda, and pitch books; and
- Complete projects for managing directors that cover transactions in their specific industries
Qualifications:
- GPA of at least 3.3/4.0
- Current undergraduate with a strong academic record;
- Coursework relevant to investment banking such as economics and finance;
- Previous internship experience in a related field;
- Demonstrable interest in mergers and acquisitions as well as the information industry;
- Knowledge of basic corporate accounting terms and business concepts;
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office. Experience working with databases is also beneficial;
- Comfortable working individually and on team based projects; and
- Strong work ethic and acute attention to detail
