The company is an industry leader and is seeking an Experienced Japanese Proofreader for its international division. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and personable with native fluency in Japanese and English. Prior experience as a professional translator is needed, with proofreading/editing experience a plus.
The successful candidate will have responsibilities in maintaining client satisfaction and providing superior service across the international operations group.The position is full time and working from a location of your choice or with the team in the office is up to you after training. Familiarity with technical documentation is a plus. Any successful candidate MUST be a native speaker of Japanese and have native fluency in English.
Primary Responsibilities will include:
-Proofreading and editing documents in Japanese that have been translated from English.
-Commenting on said documents.
-Approving documents for quality and style.
The ideal candidate will have:
-College degree required- graduate education is a plus.
-PC knowledge required.
2-10 years of translation experience
Compensation is base + bonus.
