Design Director has an immediate need for an Assistant Designer to work with a dynamic team. You will work on all aspects of design, such as fit, construction, fabrications, tech packs, sampling, and fittings. You will work within the categories of RTW, hosiery, jewelry, outerwear, shoes, belts, bags, accessories and swimwear and be expected to interface with teams external to the office. The ideal candidate will be experienced, fashion-forward and pro-active at all tasks at hand.
Requirements:
3+ years of design experience; structured and established job background highly preferred
Expert at CAD and Illustrator
hand sketching and InDesign knowledge is a plus
Must be ready and willing to take on any number of small projects as need
