DIVISION PROFILE:

CBRE's Brokerage division executes strategic, integrated and comprehensive commercial real estate brokerage services for tenants/occupiers, property owner and narrowly focused vertical industries in the office, industrial and retail sectors. Clients make informed real estate decisions underwritten by world-class and industry leading proprietary market research, analytical and consultative services. The Brokerage division draws frequently and seamlessly from other CBRE services to provide clients what they need functionally anywhere in the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducts informational research on market and clients by using such methods as the Internet to locate general property and ownership information
• Maintains database by inputting updated information on investors, tenants, vendors and properties
• Conducts cold calls with the intention of producing leads to represent clients for their real estate transactions
• Assists in the preparation of client and prospect materials
• Prepare and maintain research reports on the Commercial Real Estate market and industry, for use by Commercial Real Estate Brokers

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree, preferably in a Research, Real Estate or Finance-related area
• 1-2 years of related experience, preferably in a Research role in a large Real Estate or Financed-related industry
• Ability to comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding
• Ability to write correspondence and reports
• Requires basic knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations
• Ability to escalate problems in standard situations
