Leading Packaging Manufacturer of Heat Shrinkable Labels and Sleeves seeks Experienced GRAPHICS DESIGN PERSON/JUNIOR GRAPHICS DESIGNER
Candidates will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as great people skills. Focused, grounded and able to work well under pressure and with deadlines. The ability to teach customers our processes (which we will teach you) is mandatory.
JOB PURPOSE: To help customers perfect/design/re-design their artwork that will go on printed Heat Shrinkable PVC/PETG/OPS sleeves. This packaging is used in many industries including Cosmetic, Personal care, Chemical and Industrial, Toys, Sporting Goods and everything in between.
DUTIES: Working closely with clients to create and develop artwork for specialty packaging. In house will be working with Sales People, Engineering, Customer Service, and Production and Quality Control Personnel.
SKILLS/QULIFICATIONS
Degree/Certificate in Graphic Design or related field
2 years experience in Graphics Design Position (Packaging Design a plus)
Experience and working knowledge of:
Illustrator
Photoshop
Adobe CS3 Suite or above
Microsoft Office Suite
Pre-Press Print experience
Manufacturing/Print experience in textiles or spot color inks
Excellent Organizational skills
Ability to work quickly and effieciently under pressure
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
