We are a small, full-service, boutique firm specializing in web design and branding. Our team specializes in creative web and print projects for a variety of clientele including many in fashion and e-commerce. We also have a design focus on developing Shopify sites. Located near the beach, we are a relaxed and flexible environment looking for a designer to join our growing business.
The ideal candidate will have two years experience working at a design agency with web design and print expertise. They will be working on variety of projects including branding, websites and print materials for a wide variety of clients.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years experience in web and graphic design
- Experience in the development and design of printed collateral, advertising and other marketing materials
- Demonstrated experience in design, layout, production and high-end typography
- Proficiency in digital retouching, color-correcting and finishing
- Familiarity with 4-color printing processes and working on specialty print pieces
- Proven experience in web design, user interface and front end design for web products
- Understanding and demonstrated adaptation of cross-platform, cross-browser compatibility concerns
- Knowledge of wire framing and information architecture
- Passion for design and creative problem solving
- Ability to work within a tight timeframe and work on multiple projects efficiently
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS a plus
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent
Responsibilities:
- Create interactive design assets (graphics, banners, promotional assets, etc.) that is on target with the client's strategy and needs
- Produce dynamic web designs targeting ecommerce and informational frameworks
- Source images and create illustrations as needed
- Manage, track and communicate creation and completion of artwork
- Be detailed oriented and manage multiple projects at the same time
