Greetings Candidates! We are looking for an upbeat individual to join our staff as our bookkeeper/office assistant. Schedule will consist of about 20 hrs per week (9am-1pm), Monday through Friday. Some extra hours may be requested on occasion. Under the direction of the first assistant and project manager, our ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree, be a team player and able to take direction but capable of working efficiently with minimal supervision. You are detail oriented, professional and courteous, organized with strong follow through, reliable, punctual, and able to see around corners. Ideally you are not afraid of the crazy days, but won't resent the boring days and can switch gears smoothly. Please note that a reliable car will be required as you may be asked to run errands from time to time. Respectively, you must have a valid driver's license and current insurance. All mileage accrued on the job is paid for according to CA state guidelines and any other work related expenses are reimbursed. All candidates must be willing to sign a confidentiality agreement.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Bookkeeping- keeping track of daily/weekly/monthly expenses, paying bills, keeping track of online accounts and related profile information, reconciling bank accounts and QuickBooks, writing checks, preparing wires for funds, keeping track of vendor expenses as they pertain to contracts.
Everything Else:
Maintaining art and furniture inventories up to date in excel, Maintaining/organizing files in office, Preparing/sending mail, Maintaining office supplies and equipment, Answering phones and taking messages, Maintaining insurance policies and related correspondence, Maintaining address book, Sorting and processing mail, Occasional research or other small projects.

A HUGE plus if you have the ability to. . .
Perform website maintenance including updating and adding content, uploading images or adjusting layout, troubleshooting
Have a working knowledge of mid century modern architecture in southern CA
Ability to read blueprints

Absolutely MUST have the following skills:
QuickBooks
MAC , iPhone, iCloud Literate
Experience in dealing with online accounts
Ability to comfortably reconcile multiple bank accounts and keep track of statements
Proficiency with backing up data on time machine, iCloud, and additional back up drives
Proficiency with Microsoft office Suite including word and excel
Comfortable using social media
