Well established company in down town Los Angeles that provides economic, financial, and business strategy consulting to law firms, corporations, and government agencies is looking for a Senior Billing Coordinator. This position is responsible for producing monthly client invoices and preparation of special analyses as required by the billing manager. This position will report to the Billing Manager in another office.
Responsibilities for Senior Billing Coordinator:
Independently manage time reporting and billing. Specifically, perform basic analysis relative to time reporting and billing functions. Print and distribute prebills. Discuss billings with principals (senior level interaction). Independently solve billing and time reporting problems that arise.
Invoicing --Manage all West Coast billing functions including but not limited to collecting case data, creating draft invoice for case manager review, receiving edited invoice from case manager and preparing and mailing of the final invoice. Independently enter data into the billing system.
Independently manages own work.
Manage own time and outside resources through completion of special projects as they arise.
General administrative support- filing and copying.
Qualifications for Billing Coordinator:
Strong PC capability (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel - including a working knowledge of Pivot Tables, Powerpoint, Access; Lotus Notes)
Elite Enterprise experience preferred.
Equivalent of 5 years billing experience, preferably in professional services company.
Bachelor's degree required (transcripts or copy of degree preferred.)
