Filter's Los Angeles office is seeking an individual with extensive recruiting experience in the interactive design industry and technical recruiting space to fulfill the role of Talent Manager. Social awkwardness and anything less than wild passion for connecting with people need not apply. This position will have you wheelin' and dealin' all over the city with some of the hottest companies LA has to offer! Mediocrity stand aside, Filter seeks an energetic, focused and socially dialed-in person to fill these shiny shoes.

The Talent Manager's responsibilities will include recruiting top talent, working with hiring managers to identify needs and managing relationships with contractors while they're on assignment. Our ideal TM will have experience working with and recruiting for digital design and technology roles, including experience working with developers/programmers.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates to evaluate work history, skills, education and training, compensation needs, and other qualifications.
Collaborating with our clients' hiring managers to evaluate the required skills needed to provide the best possible resources for their team.
Appropriately educating clients on overall market conditions and industry trends.
Effortlessly establishing solid relationships with both clients and talent.
Informing candidates of job duties and responsibilities, compensation and benefits, work schedules and working conditions, policies, promotional opportunities, and other information regarding Filter and our clients.
Enthusiastically participating in local industry and marketing events to help develop quality of the talent pool

SKILLS YOU'LL NEED

Obvious recruiting experience.
Knowledge and/or passion for all things digital (web, mobile, apps, social media) design and technology.
Strong demonstrated skills in multi-tasking and ability to prioritize competing tasks.
Strong ability to assess creative and technical portfolios.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in business/negotiation situations, as well as the ability to handle sensitive employee issues in a positive manner.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or equivalent combinations of education and experience
