Executive Director

Beautiful senior community located in the greater Southern Calif area seeks EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR to fill important role.

THE POSITION:

As an Executive Director, you will provide proactive leadership, overall direction, administration and management of all aspects of this concierge-level multi-star beautiful senior living community. You will ensure that the residents are experiencing excellent and quality living of the highest caliber.

We are seeing a leader with an approachable personality, one with that unique blend of kindness, warmth, and understanding while always maintaining a business operations mind-set.

You will ensure that excellent standards are met relating to the facility, food service, activities, housekeeping and resident care.

You will have responsibility for the financial performance of the community and be able to operate within an approved budget.

You will have over 75 employees reporting to you with approx. 8 direct management reports. You will foster a collaborative team that exhibits the highest level of customer service.

You will become a community leader and serve as a resource for all senior living interests. You will position the community through your personal involvement with strategy and sales initiatives. You will be able to communicate the image and brand of the community.

You will be the "face of the community" to residents and prospective residents and families.

You will ensure compliance with state and government regulations.

ABOUT YOU:

You will have demonstrated ability to implement successful programs
You will be proficient at setting and achieving high standards of quality
You will have had successful experience hiring, mentoring and retaining staff
You will have experience developing and meeting budgets, controlling costs, and sustaining occupancy
You are a respected leader
You enjoy, honor and appreciate seniors
You bring some element of fun to the job with your approachable personality
You understand the balance between senior wants/desires and staying within a budget
BA/BS preferred
You possess 5+ years of increasing responsibility in a high quality service environment
You have a successful track record of ED (or GM) experience and the ability to drive bottom-line performance
You will allow a criminal/and or civil background check to be performed post-offer
Must be willing to relocate nearer the community. Company will assist with relocation.
