Job Description:
The function of the IMS Account Manager is to proactively support client base through strategic planning that includes: software/conceptual training, planning/research consultation, technical troubleshooting and up-selling. In addition to the tradit ional Account Management functions, candidate must be a proactive starter, possess a strong technical background and have a working knowledge of media planning, media buying or publishing. Position reports to Director of US Client Service. Travel is required
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and build relationships with assigned client list.
- Identify and pursue up-selling opportunities for sales team
-Â Organize and implement product rollouts, both internally and to external clientel
-Â Assist with client software trials and beta testing
- Conversant in client IT structure -- software setup, data access methods etc.
- Assess and oversee all installation, training, and troubleshooting needs for client
- Present regular training sessions online and in-person, as well as, information seminars refresher sessions (e.g., shortcuts/tips, little known features, QA sessions)
- Support IMS Sales team with Executive Updates to communicate new product/strategic initiatives to client base
- Track all support incidents and client visits via in-house maintenance system
- Sustain a working knowledge of all product enhancements and activity/trends in industry
- Maintain familiarity with the various data sources loaded into and utilized by the IMS applications methods of accessing that data
- Process Media Requests as necessary
- 3-5 years in the Media/Advertising industry and/or related work experience
- Bachelors degree
- Ability to learn quickly and succeed in a fast paced environment
- Proficient in Nielsen IMS or industry related software
- Aptitude for technical troubleshooting on large networks and citrix
- Capable of presenting to large groups of people
- Travel is required
