RenewAge Energy Solutions is a full-service energy services company that implements energy efficiency retrofits on commercial, industrial, retail, and multifamily properties. From lighting retrofits to building automation controls, RenewAge provides comprehensive building energy efficiency solutions.RenewAge is looking for an experienced Electrical Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage $3-5 million annually in electrical (lighting building controls) upgrade projects throughout Los Angeles and Orange County.

Electrical Construction Project Manager manages and assumes all day-to-day responsibility for all aspects of electrical and lighting project installation from the initial project assignment to final project sign off. Provides leadership, communication and follow-up of processes to insure a high level of service excellence and customer satisfaction. Manages multiple lighting projects concurrently with strong workflow processes and organizational skills in order to get projects done on-budget and on-time.

General Responsibilities

Assist in performing comprehensive energy audits to identify and record opportunities for electrical (lighting and controls) efficiency upgrades.

Oversee and manage from start to finish energy efficient lighting electrical upgrade projects sized $10,000 to $200,000 for commercial buildings, hotels, hospitals, liquor stores, convenience stores and gas stations.

Interface with clients, sub-contractors, distributors and sales managers to schedule installations, oversee and administer the work and close out jobs on-time and on-budget.

Assist in developing efficient workflow procedures for improving project implementation in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial working environment with high growth potential

Specific Responsibilities

Office Support: Assisting in work order or proposal generation, drafting bill of materials, material procurement and scheduling, coordinating and scheduling sub-contractors, drafting and maintaining budgets, project tracking in project management software.

Installation: Hosting take-off meetings with sub-contractors and/or clients, material management during installation; contractor management on/off-site, technical supervision; prompt communication with operations director, customer, and sub-contractors.

Customer Service: high commitment to customer satisfaction, support both internal and external customers, attention to detail, on-site troubleshooting and putting out fires.

Position Requirements

Able to work as part of a team as a utility player in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial business environment
Strong communication, leadership skills and problem solving capabilities
Strong planning and organizational skills
Effective relationship building skills with sales, utilities, customers, distributors and contractors.
Experience managing/performing energy efficiency retrofit and upgrade projects
Strong knowledge of energy efficiency services and electrical retrofit services (lighting, lighting controls, building controls, etc.)
Strong project management skills including ability to proactively identify and solve technical problems.
Extensive electrical knowledge/background: National Code, electrical wiring.
Preferably hold an electrical or general contractor license in one or more states
Position requires physical agility: may be required to lift and move objects of 60 lbs or more, work off ladders, lifts, and scaffolding, stack wrap and label skids on job sites, transport required project materials to and from the project site if needed, work in temperature extremes on both indoor and outdoor projects.
This position externally partners with customers, utility representatives, and electrical contractors.
This position internally partners with the Operations Director, Sales Manager and CEO.
