SUMMARY OF POSITION:

This sales coordinator position reports to the VP of Sales but works hand in hand with the Business Dev't Manager as well. The primary function is to provide an efficient and professional sales admin support ensuring all requirements of customers are communicated accurately to, while working actively as part of the central team to increase and enhance the level of service, adding value to internal teams and external contacts.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

- assist in processing of all customer requests and documentation (requires heavy reading of documents, manuals and reports)
- data enter purchase orders in Quickbooks
- assist in invoicing and collection (as needed) for special customer base specified by VP of Sales
- coordinate sample requests (specification, production, shipment, delivery, feedback)
- work with business development manager and factory in Asia with details in production, quality and other import documentation
- organize and keep track of paperwork, emails, details, specifications, requirements of different private label projects (product development to supply chain management)
- follow-up on emails and messages for VP of Sales and Business Dev't. Manager
- assist in tradeshow planning (researching venues, vendor communication, contracts review, etc)

Strong level of proficiency with Microsoft Office
Attention to detail -- job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks
Project-oriented with superior attention to detail and prioritizing skills
Ability to Multi-Task
This is an mid-level position, with previous work experience in the same capacity required.
Minimum travel required.
Must be proficient in MS Office and Quickbooks experience is a plus.
Experience working with Walmart, Restoration Hardware, Disney, Target, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Sephora a plus.
