We are a fast growing Accounting/Business Management firm seeking a Staff Accountant to support our Senior Accountants in accomplishing daily projects and responsibilities. Our firm specializes in a variety of industries including professional services, real estate, and high net-worth individuals in the entertainment industry (TV, Motion Picture, Athletes, and Musicians). This position involves working in a team environment and with a variety of professionals.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Prepare/Review financial statements for client reporting, loan packages and tax return prep
Prepare/Review Payroll Tax and Sales Tax Returns
Prepare Business License applications and renewals
Prepare Business Property renewals
Review/Reconcile Brokerage/Investment Accounts
Review Bookkeeper entries
Prepare Bank Reconciliations
Prepare workers comp audit reports
Requirements:
3+ years of experience within an Entertainment Business Management or Accounting firm
Knowledge and practical experience regarding basic computer skills including Microsoft Work, Excel, QuickBooks and Lacerte
Excellent follow though abilities and detail oriented
Must work well under pressure while adhering to deadlines
Flexible team player and ability to train and work well with others
Ability to maintain highly confidential information
Salary- dependent upon qualifications and experience
Benefits- Medical and Dental after 90 days, 401k and Paid Vacation after 1 year
