We are a fast growing Accounting/Business Management firm located in Encino seeking a full time Tax Manager. We provide tax, business management, bookkeeping, accounting and consulting services to our clients. Most of our clients are high net worth individuals and personal service entities. We are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant with a strong accounting background and a minimum of 6 years experience preparing individual, partnership and corporate tax returns, including underlying accounting involved in preparing returns.
Responsibilities include:
Ability to prepare federal and state income tax returns for individuals, business entities and trusts
Oversight and review of tax staff
Analyze and adjust accounting for business entities using QuickBooks
Research and resolution various tax issues/questions
Prepare tax projections for individuals and corporations
Prepare and participate in IRS and State income tax audits
Professional Qualifications include:
6+ years of experience
4-year bachelor degree required
Ability to understand and apply current IRS guidelines, system updates and revisions, and policy changes
Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
Team player and ability to train and work well with others
Excellent follow through abilities and detail oriented
Prefer experience with QuickBooks and Lacerte.
Salary- dependent upon qualifications and experience
