General contractor/owner looking for an experienced and energetic superintendent for a 50-unit apartment building project.
Must be skilled at keeping a project on course and keeping crews productive.
Requires 5+ years in the field with broad experience of construction management practices.
Must have experience in scheduling, estimating and budgeting and knowledge of state and local applicable building and safety codes for commercial and residential.
Responsibilities include:
1. Oversight and coordination of subcontractors and on staff crew members
2. Maintaining budgets
3. Ordering necessary materials for various trades, ability to take accurate on-site measurements for outsourced fabrication.
4. Assisting with any hands-on labor necessary to complete the job
Ability to handle quality control and coordination of complex designs from beginning to end. Must be detail oriented, organized, have strong oral and written communication skills, computer literate, knowledge of architectural plans and specs.
