Description:
One of the fastest growing Manufacturer/Distributors of accessories for mobile phones, tablets and MP3 players is seeking an experienced, full-time Product Designer to join our team at our headquarters in Torrance, CA.

The selected Product Designer will be responsible for the design and development of a wide variety of consumer electronics.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to create products with a clean, minimalist design sensibility.

Responsibilities:
Organize market research and competitive analysis for assigned projects
Translate project briefs into successful design concepts
Follow and evolve company aesthetic
Prepare factory-ready Construction Documents, 3D models, and Artwork files
Perform design revisions as necessary throughout the development process
Maintain updated knowledge of the market and design industry
Translate critique into improvement
Perform well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-task environment

Specific Skills:
Design degree in Product Design or Industrial Design
3+ years of focused product design experience in consumer electronics
Exceptionally skilled with Rhino 3D Modeling
Able to create photo-realistic renderings using V-Ray
Highly skilled with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Realistic understanding of production processes and basic engineering
Interest in Apple products, consumer electronics, and video games.
Strong visual, written and verbal communication skills
Highly detail-oriented and organized
