What you'll be doing at bebe
The ideal candidate for Digital Artist II leads re-touching for bebe.com including lifestyle and product images
; Drives category performance in Comp Sales %, Comp Gross Margin $, and Turn to achieve Divisional Income Goal.
Responsibilities
Lead retouching, resizing of images for product detail online, capable of processing approximately 50-- 70 images a day.
Lead retouching of lifestyle images for online Lookbook Projects.
Provide and update re-touching and cropping guidelines.
Work with photo studio and other cross functional partners on how to speed up process and improve workflow.
Work with marketing as needed on catalog / licensing / International projects.
Responsible for keeping consistency accuracy as it relates the given style guide.
Responsible for prioritizing work flow in order content publication dates and timelines.
Works with content manager on closing any missing imagery and researching issues.
Supports graphic design team in uploading imagery for special projects such as homepages, banners, catalog publication and featured items.
Balance Ecommerce and Marketing retouching demands for quick daily turnarounds.
Maintains digital library and works with IT on purging old imagery.
Works under general supervision.

Requirements
Incumbents are gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Has mastered most of the basic job duties.
Incumbents are still occasionally directed in several aspects of their work. However more straightforward tasks are accomplished without assistance.
General proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job. May need to consult with Sr/Specialist staff members on some technical issues.
Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
Capable of working on a PC.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work independently.
Exceptional organizational skills.
Experience with HTML/Javascript/XML, Flash and Action Script are a plus.
Requires a college degree (or equivalent) and 3-5 years experience.
