Contemporary men's and women's premium brand is seeking a Sweater Technical Designer. We are seeking someone thoroughly experienced and familiar with sweater construction. In this role you will communicate with factories, oversee fittings and ensure accuracy of technical packs. Salary is competitive and this is an excellent opportunity to join a leading apparel brand. Responsibilities:
Perform review of samples, yarn specs, sketches, and tech packs to ensure accuracy
Compile Technical Specification sheets with details of measurements, grading, yarn contents, trims, print/pattern layouts and sketches
Attend fittings and correspondence with factories and vendors for technical changes and inquiries
Oversee delivery times and accuracy of samples
Requirements:
7- 10 years of experience
Strong communicator
Needs to work well independently, have excellent follow through and self-initiative
